The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office is looking for at least two brazen suspects who yanked an entire ATM machine out of a Slaughterville convenience store.
It happened at the Sooner Country Store just before 5 a.m. Saturday, July 2.
Sheriff’s Spokesperson Meghan Jackson says surveillance video shows two men covered in black clothing and black masks enter the store by breaking a front window. The thieves then tied a cable around the ATM machine located at the front of the store, and tried to yank it out. The video shows them yanking pieces of the ATM machine out six different times during a span of seven minutes.

“We believe that they had been in there before,” said Jackson. “They knew right where that ATM was, and they were able to go in there, and hook it up and drag it out in a matter of minutes.”
Jackson said ATM machines hold as much as 10,000 dollars.
News 9 was not able to reach the owner of Sooner Country Store to ask how much money that ATM machine had in it.
Lana Ringwald is a long-time customer at Sooner Country Store.
“People who steal from people, that’s wrong,” said Ringwald.
