Oklahoma City Parks and Recreation Department is offering a Stained Glass Bicycle Tour to show off the art of some area churches.

The tour leads riders to four Midtown and Capitol Hill churches with local historian Al Turner discussing the history and significance of each church’s stained glass windows.

The tour is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, from 1-5 p.m., and will begin and end at Schlegel Bicycles in Automobile Alley.

The route is about 15 miles long. Helmets are required and children under 12 must be on a tandem bicycle or in a bicycle trailer. It costs $20 per rider.
