Police need help identifying a man seen driving off in a stolen vehicle from the Henry Hudson’s on I-240.

During the early morning hours of Nov. 12, cameras outside the bar caught a man lurking in the parking lot. He is brought to the location by someone driving a small, dark colored SUV, according to authorities. The suspect appears to be looking for an easy opportunity.

“He walks over to another vehicle in the parking lot and attempts to open the door,” said Officer Megan Morgan, Oklahoma City Police Department. “When it doesn’t open he goes to the victim’s vehicle.”

The owner of the car told police she left her car in the parking lot overnight. Unfortunately, the woman's Nissan Altima was left open with a pair of keys inside. The suspect takes off in the car and the driver of the dark SUV follows him.

“We are trying to get him identified,” said Morgan. “We are hoping someone can recognize him maybe even based off the car he drove to the scene or he was driving to the in the scene.”

The victim called police later in the day to report the stolen car. She also told police the car had several other valuable items inside including car seats, clothing, a bill of sale and title, cash, social security card, work ID, checks and credit cards. Police said the car was found not long after it was stolen but not in the same shape the victim left it in.

“It was found abandoned in Oklahoma City,” said Morgan. “Unfortunately there was significant damage to the vehicle.”

If you have information about the crime or recognize the man or the SUV in the video, call Oklahoma City Police.
