Edmond Begins New Holiday Tradition With Luminance on Saturday

Edmond Electric crews put the final touches on Luminance a head of this weekend's kick-off.

In the past, Edmond Electric has hosted a parade of lights, but weather and declining participation has left them pumping the brakes.

Instead, crews have put together a walk-through light display at Mitch Park.

Something they're really excited to offer to the community.

"Families can come out for the whole month of December. They can get their hot chocolate. They can go ice skating. They can walk through and look at all the displays," Edmond Electric spokeswoman Jessica Lyle said.

Just like the parade, admission to Luminance is free.
