NTSB Releases Prelim Report On Alva Plane Crash

<p>The National Transportation and Safety Board today released the preliminary report detailing the&nbsp;the&nbsp;cause of the plane crash in Alva from last month.</p>

The National Transportation and Safety Board today released the preliminary report detailing the the cause of the plane crash in Alva from last month.

The report states the trouble started when a piece of equipment on the plane popped up. The aircraft then hit powerlines and trees that were about 3,000 feet away from the runway at the nearby airport.

David Chael passed away at the scene of the crash and Cory Washburn died a few days later.
