A protective order has been requested against Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson in Cleveland County, according to court documents.

"We’re aware and are gathering more information," Univesity spokesperson Michael Houck told News 9.

According to court documents, a temporary emergency protective order has been issued and a hearing has been set for Monday, December 18.

Anderson led the Sooners in rushing with 960 yards on the ground and 11 touchdowns. He added 283 yards and five scores receiving, doing most of his damage in the second half of the season. In the last six weeks of the regular season, the sophomore tallied 1,041 yards from scrimmage and 14 touchdowns.

Second-ranked Oklahoma faces No. 3 Georgia on Jan. 1 in the College Football Playoff semifinal.
