Pesto Pull Apart Straws
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 2 tablespoon pesto
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1 egg, beaten
- Favorite spaghetti sauce
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Open the crescent roll package and separate the dough in half.
- Unroll one half of the crescent roll dough in the center of the baking pan.
- Lightly roll out the dough.
- Spread the pesto onto the dough and then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Place the other 1/2 of the crescent dough on top of the pesto coated sheet.
- Cut slits 1 inch apart down the side of the dough.
- Make sure not to cut all the way to the center.
- Continue down the other side lining up the cuts with the other side.
- Twist each strip.
- Brush with a beaten egg and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve with your favorite pasta sauce.
