1 Injured In Bethany Shooting

One person was injured in a shooting Thursday afternoon in Bethany.

The shooting happened in the parking lot of a store near N Rockwell Avenue and NW 23 Street.

The incident started as a robbery of an individual in the parking lot of Walgreens, police said.

The victim was shot once in the leg and is suffering non-life-threatening injuries. 

The injured person was taken to a local hospital by paramedics.

Police are looking for a black Nissan Sentra which drove southbound on Rockwell Avenue with three white males inside.

The Walgreens is closed while police process the scene.
