79 linemen and crew from OG&E are back home after spending nearly two weeks in the Carolinas.

It was a long and hard trip for the Big Orange OG&E crew that was capped off with a warm welcome from their families

The company posted some video on social media showing a great reunion between some fathers and their children.

The crew members have spent much of September helping restore power after Hurricane Florence touched down on the east coast.

Assistance was requested by Duke Energy. A contingent of more than 30 OG&E trucks carrying 72 crew members left soon after on September 11 from Oklahoma City.

Crews worked three days in the Raleigh, North Carolina area before being assigned to Wilmington where they worked for six days

OG&E joined with more than 40,000 power industry workers to support the Florence restoration and recovery effort.

While they were over in North Carolina, OG&E crews restored power to more than 10,000 customers.
