Tulsa's new park near downtown is appropriately named the Gathering Place,

I say this because people from all over of all ages will be traveling to this beautiful park.  We saw it for the first time this weekend and were amazed by the play areas, the landscaping, the boating pond and everything else $400 million of mainly private money could buy.

Here's what you had to say about it:

Rick says, "[I] appreciated your review of The Gathering Place, but vertical video!? Tsk, tsk, tsk."

Sorry Rick, I was in Facebook Live mode.

Jessica said, "I agree that we need more MAPS to beautify OKC, but The Gathering Place was funded by the billionaire, George Kaiser, maybe he could send some our way also! Can't wait to visit this beautiful place"

Serena wrote, “MAPS doesn't even come close to something as nice as this. I think it's GREAT that Tulsa is providing something different than what OKC offers."

Loris said, "Kelly, watching your livestream at the Gathering Place it looks absolutely beautiful, thank you for sharing!"

Linda from Binger said, "Hopefully I'll be able to take my granddaughter there when the weather warms up. She loves going to parks to play. I hadn't ever heard of it. Thank you Kelly Ogle for bringing it to our attention."

Finally, from Bill in Yukon: "$400 Million is a lot of money... but that is one impressive park."

I'm Kelly Ogle and that's YOUR 2 Cents.
