Tuttle Police Cancels Search For Missing Children

Tuttle police canceled a search Saturday for two young girls who were taken by a non-custodial parent.

UPDATE: Nine-year-old Ava Deaton and three-year-old Addie Alexander are "no longer considered missing or endangered," according to the Tuttle Police Department's Facebook page.

The department said the mother has made contact with Tuttle police "through legal counsel" Saturday afternoon. 

Tuttle Police were looking for two young girls who they say were taken by a non-custodial parent.

Officers said Deaton and Alexander were taken Saturday by their mother.

The children were reported missing by their grandmother who is their custodial parent.
