Man Taken Into Custody As Officers Investigate Stroud Double Homicide
STROUD, Oklahoma - A man has been taken into custody in connection with a double homicide in Stroud.
The deaths happened Tuesday morning in the 500 block of W 10th Street.
OSBI agents identified the deceased as 63-year-old Pauletta Pittman and 65-year-old Mark Pittman.
Law officers named 39-year-old Shawn Pittman as a person of interest shortly after the incident and searched for him for most of the day.
Pittman was found driving a gold minivan at the First Christian Church, 323 W 4th Street in Stroud.
Pittman was arrested in connection with previous DUI charges. He is being held at the Stroud jail.
