Longtime CBS anchor Norah O'Donnell is preparing to take over the CBS Evening News.

She will be the third woman in American broadcast history to anchor any of the nightly newscasts across the three television networks.

News 9's Amanda Taylor spoke with her about how she is preparing for her new role.

O'Donnell will anchor the CBS Evening News later this summer.
