Interstate 40 westbound at Harrah Road is reopened Thursday morning after it was shut down due to an overturned semi on fire, officials said.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials said two people were inside the cab of the semi when it lost control, overturned and caught fire around 1:30 a.m.

One person was taken to a local hospital. Their condition is unknown, according to OHP.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area while crews work to clean up the accident.

This is a developing story.
