Kyler Murray has announced he will commit his life to "becoming an NFL quarterback," according to a social media post.

Murray, who won a Heisman Trophy during his senior year at the University of Oklahoma, was drafted by the Oakland A's before starting as quarterback at OU.

According to the post, football has been "my love and passion my entire life" and he eagerly awaits the "opportunity to continue to prove to NFL decision makers that I am the franchise QB in this draft."

Sports pundits have debated since his record-breaking season whether he would choose pro baseball or pro football.
