OKLAHOMA CITY - The State Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who was killed by electrocution at the Bricktown Canal, Sunday night

Authorities identified the victim as 23-year-old Wesley Seeley. Fire officials said Seeley fell off of one of the domed light stands that line the Bricktown Canal into the water. He was then electrocuted when he grabbed exposed wires from the broken light while trying to pull himself out of the water.

The surviving victim, Brandon Gann from Arkansas, who tried to save Seely is still in critical condition. Friends say they are not surprised at all that Brandon tried to save the man who had fallen into the canal.
