Logan Co. Burglary Suspects Found In OKC
LOGAN COUNTY, Oklahoma - A resident living on Lakewood Drive in Logan County said on August 29, a door at his home had been kicked in and a Jackson electric guitar, Fender amplifier, prescription medication and checkbooks were gone.
Detectives called and texted a phone number left behind at the scene telling them, “they should bring the medication back as the victim suffered from cancer and really needed this medication,” court records revealed.
Finally, investigators got ahold of Bridgette Carlisle (Thompson), who was identified as a suspect in the burglary.
“She stated she was at this location at Rockwell and Reno at 7-Eleven, that she was scared of the individuals that were in the car,” said Logan County Major Greg Randolph. “We directed her to 911 to get Oklahoma City to respond to help her.”
Oklahoma City Police arrived, and body camera footage showed a man in the SUV passed out. Officers tried to wake him.
It was Jered Brown. Logan County investigators were told he was the one who had kicked in the door at the home on Lakewood before Carlisle (Thompson) went in.
“She gave consent to Oklahoma City to search the vehicle at which time they located some stolen property that had been taken from the house on Lakewood,” said Major Randolph.
Carlisle (Thompson) was arrested and Logan County court records showed she admitted to the crime. Another suspect, Christopher Harvey, was also arrested in connection with the case.
Authorities said Brown was taken to the hospital and was in no condition to be interviewed at that time.
Major Randolph said out of custody charges have been filed on him.
