The pilot of the hot-air balloon says the balloon landed safely before a heavy wind shift caused a snag.
“The balloon had landed safely on the ground in an open field when the wind shifted 90 degrees and caused the envelope to snag on a light pole. There was neither a crash or accident. Just an unfortunate event,” said Michael Scott with Flying High Balloon Services, LLC.
Officials say there were no injuries.
