Crews Douse Grass Fires Along I-44 In NW OKC

Crews successfully extinguished a number of small fires along Interstate 44 on the northwest side of the metro, Monday afternoon.

Firefighters were called out to deal with the fires on the outside shoulder of the eastbound I-44, between NW 10th Street and NW 36th Street.

No damage was caused by the fires and no injuries were reported. The cause has not yet been determined.
