A suspect is in custody after leading police officers on a chase in south Oklahoma City, Wednesday morning.
News 9 confirmed that the police department's gang unit began pursuing the suspect's green Toyota. It's unclear at this time why the chase began in the first place.
The suspect vehicle crashed into a telephone pole on S.W. 11th between Harvey and Walker. The suspect was then taken into custody.
