Three In Custody Following Chase, Crash Near Choctaw

Authorities have three people in custody following a pursuit that ended near Choctaw, Oklahoma, Friday morning.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP),  troopers initially tried to pull the suspect vehicle over for speeding. But it took off. That's when the chase began.

After leading troopers on a pursuit, the suspect vehicle crashed, and the driver ran away near S. Choctaw Road and S.E. 89th. 

Troopers searched the area and found the driver hiding in a closet inside a home in the area. He has been taken into custody. A woman was asleep inside the home at the time. She was unharmed and was escorted out.

Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies also have two female suspects in custody. 

Authorities said they found drug paraphernalia inside the suspect's vehicle.

The suspects have not been identified.
