Bethany Police Look For Third Armed And Dangerous Accomplice

Bethany Police are looking for a serial robber after an accomplice gave him up. 

Investigators believe 23-year-old Markey Smith is involved in robberies across the Oklahoma City and Bethany area. 

Larry Alexander was arrested in June for several armed robberies in Bethany. During questioning, he named Smith and Paris Jefferson as accomplices in other crimes.  

According to the arrest affidavit, Alexander told police Smith and Jefferson pulled guns on two elderly men while they were in their driveways. Smith allegedly chased one of the victims into his garage while he was trying to run away. 

Police say Smith ran from that scene and he is still wanted. He is the only one in the group tied to these crimes police have not arrested.
