Police Seek Suspect In Man's Shooting Death In NW OKC

Police are investigating a shooting that killed a man in northwest Oklahoma City, early Sunday morning.

According to police, just after 1:30 a.m. officers responded to the report that someone had possibly been shot in the 2400 block of N.W. 32nd Street. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds on a porch.

The victim, later identified as 28-year-old David Weideman, was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The investigation is ongoing, and police said they do not have anyone in custody at this time. If you have any information, call the homicide tip-line at (405)-297-1200.

This is Oklahoma City’s 53rd homicide of 2016, according to police.
