Storms Possible This Weekend In OK, Cool Down On The Way

Storms are likely in the panhandle Thursday evening. A cold front moves into northwest Oklahoma Thursday night, bringing higher chances for rain and storms to that part of the state.

There's only a slight chance the storms make it into Oklahoma overnight.

Chances for storms increase in central Oklahoma Friday afternoon and evening. There is a low threat storms become severe with small hail and damaging wind gusts. Cooler weather is on the way for the weekend.
