Rush-hour traffic is off to a rough start in Oklahoma City, as wreckers have had to respond to the scene of two rollover accidents on the north side of the metro, Friday.

The first crash occurred right around the Governor’s Mansion. First responders were called out to the scene at NE 23rd St., just west of N. Laird Ave., where a single white sedan was on its top in the middle of the street.

Traffic on 23rd St. has been slowed to one lane both east and west while crews work the scene. It is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.

The second crash happened on the northbound side of I-235 just north of the NE 6th St. entrance. Two vehicles, a Jeep and a car were involved in this crash. The wreck has caused heavy traffic on 6th St. and the entrance to the interstate. Traffic is also slow on NB I-235 in the area.

Two people were transported from the scene to a local hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The causes of both crashes have not yet been determined.
