A local woman's disturbing discovery exposes a metro fight club.

An Instagram account now exists that promotes fights between teens right here in the metro. News 9's Justin Dougherty spoke with a mom who calls this a sad situation.

From outside the Warren Theater to a city park, and even inside the classroom, each video just as violent as the last.

"It's scary to think about that they're in their school and maybe they're not as safe as what we think they are," said the metro mom who made the discovery.

Even more frightening for this mom, this is a private account targeted at Moore students. The icon, Moore Lions. And right there in the description, all three Moore High Schools.

One fight appears to take place in the middle of a main hall of South Moore. Others throughout the city. Each time, teens encourage other teens to take a swing only for 15 seconds of fame.

"It was shocking to see these kids and the amount of kids standing around and cheering them on was really disturbing to me," the mom said.

The mom came to us and didn't want to be identified out of the safety for her own kids who go to a Moore school. Because if these videos aren't evident enough, some teens will stop at nothing for a little attention.

“We, adults and our community, need to stop glorifying such behavior and allowing such things to happen. We can't turn a blind eye when we see these things or hear of these things. We need to be proactive," the mom said.

We did reach out to Moore Public Schools, and Superintendent Dr. Robert Romines said, "Administrators had been made aware of many of these fights and disciplinary action has been taken."

Moore Police said, "Some of the videos have been investigated and the fight at South Moore is currently under investigation."

Police also advice parents to monitor your child's activity on social media.
