Police Investigate After Student Reportedly Brings Loaded Gun To PC High School

Authorities are investigating after a student reportedly brought a loaded gun to Putnam City High School Thursday.

According to authorities, just before noon, three parents called the Putnam City High School about a student having a gun on campus. Campus police went to that student’s classroom, and near the football field, they found the student and a gun in a backpack in some bushes.

The student reportedly escaped from campus police and was taken into custody by Warr Acres police a couple of blocks from the school. 

Nobody was injured during the incident.
