Oklahoma City Police are searching for the people who robbed an elderly woman while she was inside her Northwest Oklahoma City home! It happened last week in the Windsor Forrest Subdivision near NW 19th and Ann Arbor.

Thursday, police released security photos of the suspects shopping at Wal-Mart with the victim's credit cards.

The victim is an 82-year-old and is in a wheelchair, so these thieves not only preyed on a sweet old lady, but one that is handicapped. And they did it all while she was asleep inside her home.

“I was in bed there,” said Zeva Synco, from inside her home. “And I woke up, and I looked around, and I saw my medicine was gone - and I thought what in the world?”

Not only are some of her medications gone, so is her computer that was on her desk. Her purse is missing and so is her car that was inside the garage. The thieves even took her air compressor.

Synco says this all happened over the course of two nights. And it appears the thieves hopped the fence, snuck in the back, and walked right in through the sliding glass door.

“I left this door unlocked, that's how they got in,” said Synco. “I feel so bad about that doing it right under my nose.”

But police believe that the two people in the surveillance images may be responsible for that overnight heist. Cameras captured images of a man and woman using Synco's credit cards at the Walmart near her home. They also released a picture of the suspect’s car.

Synco just hopes police find the man and woman who tried to rob her blind.

And if you recognize the man and woman in those photos call Crime Stoppers at 235-7300.
