Suspects Arrested In Connection With Drive-By Shooting In SE OKC

Two men are in the Oklahoma County jail Sunday after being arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting that occurred Saturday night, Oklahoma City police reported.

Two men are in the Oklahoma County jail Sunday after being arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting that occurred Saturday night, Oklahoma City police reported.

Donald Joe Walter, 23, and Patrick Leo Solis, 27, were arrested by Oklahoma City police officers Sunday afternoon, a police spokesman said.

About 11:45 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to a home near SE 69th St. and Byers Ave. in reference to a drive-by shooting. Multiple people were at the home celebrating a birthday. Four people were shot.

A 70-year-old woman and a 5-year-old boy were in critical condition Saturday night and all four are still hospitalized, police said.

Solis was arrested on complaints of possession of a firearm after a former conviction of a felony and possession of a sawed-off shotgun. His bail is set at $12,000.

Walter was arrested on complaints of driving under the influence, transporting an open container, possession of a firearm, using vehicle to facilitate discharge of firearm, possession of sawed-off shotgun and possession of marijuana. His bail is set at $31,500.
