Two people were shot after an altercation in northwest Oklahoma City Tuesday night.
Police were called out to the scene in the 3000 block of NW 23rd St., near the intersection of N. Brookline Ave., just after 7:30 p.m. It happened in this parking lot of the Northwest Baptist Church.
Police just cleared the scene just before 10 p.m. and took down the crime tape.
News 9 has learned it started out as an altercation that led to two people being shot. Both victims were rushed to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say they don't know how the suspects got away. They have no vehicle description, but do know both suspects are male.
Several witnesses have been interviewed and one person was places in handcuffs and put in a police car. It is unclear what that person had to do with this incident.
Police have not identified the people who were shot nor have they identified the person they have in custody.
The cause of the shooting is under investigation.
