After nearly a week of rain and storms, News 9's Chief Meteorologist David Payne hit the road to survey the damage in Bridge Creek after a multiple-vortex tornado touched down.

The storm destroyed homes and businesses leaving many people stunned.

As the cleanup begins, David visited two families hit hard by the storm.

They told David about rushing to take shelter, listening to the storm as it passed, and then emerging from their storm shelters to find their homes destroyed.
