Police Investigate After Shots Fired Into Stillwater Home

Police are looking for a suspect who fired several shots into a Stillwater home Friday morning.

Police are looking for a suspect who fired several shots into a Stillwater home Friday morning.

According to police, at 7:46 a.m., officers responded to the report of shots fired in the area of 10th and Pine. A witness told police he heard four gunshots. He directed the officers to the area of the 1000 block of S. Pine.

The witness said he saw a small silver car leaving the area on 11th after he heard the gunshots.

Officers located four shell casings in the street in the 1000 block of S. Pine. Police said they also found a home on the east side of the street which had been struck by the gunfire four times.

Two adults were inside the house when the shooting occurred. Police said three of the four bullets entered the home.

The residents said they did not know their house had been shot until they were contacted by the officers. The residents stated they had no idea who would have shot at their house.

No one was injured during the shooting. The case has been sent to the Criminal Investigations Division for further investigation. The names of the residents are being withheld at this time.
