Our pattern of warm and dry weather continues this week with above normal temperatures and below average precipitation. Our wind will shift to the north Monday night, but temperatures won't fall much. We're looking for overnight lows in the low 40's under mostly clear skies.

The wind shifts back to the south early Tuesday bringing temperatures back to the mid-70's. With low humidity and a brisk south wind, there will be a high fire threat Tuesday. This threat becomes extreme on Wednesday with highs in the upper 70's ahead of a cold front.

Our next cold front arrives late Wednesday night. The wind will be out of the north by early Thursday, with sustained winds between 20 and 40 miles per hour. Highs will fall to the upper 50's Thursday.
