Weatherford Mother Arrested For Shooting And Killing Daughter
WEATHERFORD, Oklahoma - A Weatherford mother was arrested Monday for the shooting death of her daughter.
Just before noon Monday, Weatherford police said 32-year-old Vitoria Garcia was found dead in a home located at 300 E. Tom Stafford. Authorities said she suffered gunshot wounds to the head.
After 8 p.m. Monday, authorities arrested the victim's mother, Isabel Garcia, for first-degree murder.
The victim's body was taken to the medical examiner for an autopsy to determine an official cause of death, officials said.
The motive for the shooting was undetermined as of Monday night.
