Oklahoma City's Texas Roadhouse will host a rib-eating contest between Oklahoma City police officers and firefighters Monday to benefit the American Red Cross and Special Olympics Oklahoma.
The rib-eating contest will take place at 6:30 p.m. on June 30 at Texas Roadhouse, 1109 E. Interstate 240 Service Road.
The Oklahoma City Fire Department will compete on behalf of the American Red Cross, and Special Olympics Oklahoma is the chosen charity of the Oklahoma City Police Department.
From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on June 30, Texas Roadhouse will also host a Dine to Donate fundraiser. Texas Roadhouse will donate 10 percent of all dinner sales to the charities.
