Suspect Arrested Following High Speed Chase In SE OKC

A suspect was arrested after leading Oklahoma City police officers and Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers on a high-speed chase early Tuesday morning in southeast Oklahoma City.

According to police, the chase started just before 1 a.m. on Interstate 40 near MacArthur. It continued in the south side of the city before ending on I-35 near S.E. 89th.

Authorities say at one point, the suspect vehicle was traveling up to 90 miles per hour.

No word yet on why the driver ran. That person is now in custody.
