Tulsa police say they recovered numerous bullet casings after shots were fired at the Eton Square Shopping Center.

The gunshots were reported at about 1 a.m. Sunday near the Agave Mexican Grill, according to Tulsa Police.

Officer Billy Burson said a dark-colored SUV pulled up in front of the restaurant. One of the doors opened, and someone fired "a bunch of rounds" into the air.

"We covered several casings from the scene," Burson said. "We're going to turn those in, get them processed."

Burson said the incident was under investigation.

"Right now all I have are rumors, so I don't really know what really went on," he said.

Although he could not confirm how many shots were actually fired, Tulsa Police Captain Steve Odom said that officers in the area heard what sounded like 30 to 40 shots. EMSA has no record of any injuries.
