Oklahoma City, OK - Off to a 6-1 start to the 2012-13 campaign, the Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels are now ranked eighth in the latest National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division I Top 10 rankings, as of Nov. 27.

The Lady Evangels have won four straight overall and are coming off an 81-54 rout of Northern New Mexico College last Friday (Nov. 23) at the Clarion Inn Thanksgiving Classic at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colo.

Kourtni Williams is pacing MACU this season with team-highs of 16.1 points per game and nine rebounds a game. She has also blocked a team-high nine shots on the season. Parris Price is second in scoring at 14.7 ppg, while Sabrina McKinney has dished out a team-best 41 assists.

The Lady Evangels will next tangle with Ecclesia College of Springdale, Ark. on Saturday afternoon (Dec. 1) at 2 p.m. in the Southwestern Christian University Classic in Bethany.
