The reward for information in the Luther arson fire is quickly growing, now at $8,800.

"Whoever did this is real nervous," said Larry Grant, President of the Oklahoma County Sheriff's office Fraternal Order of Police. "They need to be punished, they need to be put away for the rest of their lives as far as I'm concerned."

The FOP kicked off the reward fund with $1000 yesterday.

"We decided that it would be a good idea to dangle a carrot, that's what we're doing."

Grant says with all the devastation that ruined so many lives, FOP decided this was the best way to help. And he's not surprised so many Oklahomans have chipped in as well. He's hoping the pot will grow to the point where someone can't resist turning in the arsonist.

"He just like any other criminal, he's not going to keep his mouth shut, he's going to confide in somebody."

Right now, The FOP is taking pledges, then if the arsonist is caught and convicted, they will call back and collect the money.

If you want to donate to the fund, call (405) 820-2469.

Anyone with information about who may have started the fire can call or text the Arson Tip Line at (405) 259-6276.
