OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City police are searching for a gunman Monday morning after a man was shot in the chest and killed on the southwest side of the city.

Samuel Stevens, 36, was shot at 12:30 a.m. near S.W. 15th Street and Penn. He was driven to the hospital in a personal vehicle and died soon after he arrived.

Investigators say the suspect shot Stevens after some sort of altercation. Police say the suspect in the shooting is a known gang member, but they're not sure if the shooting is gang-related.
