AMC Theaters Ban Certain Costumes After Colorado Massacre

Officials with the AMC theaters released a statement Friday saying they will not allow any guests into the theatres in costumes that make other guests feel uncomfortable.

After a horrific shooting at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, officials with the AMC theaters released a statement Friday saying they will not allow any guests into the theaters in costumes that make other guests feel uncomfortable.

According to the statement, officials are also banning face-covering masks or fake weapons inside movie theaters.

Twelve people were killed and 59 were injured after the gunman, 24-year-old James Holmes, opened fire in a suburban Denver movie theater early Friday morning.
