The Oklahoma City Thunder, now the Western Conference champions have everyone around the metro pumped up. And fans, businesses and city leaders are all excited to show off Oklahoma City's revamped image to the world.
As Mayor Mick Cornett said, "The world's attention is going to be on us and I suspect we're going to live up to the promise."

Oklahoma City is set to show off what makes it special during the NBA finals and Cornett said the city is now in a new class. Fans, including the mayor, said the Thunder have a lot to do with that.
"Oh wow, it was just too exciting. It's too exciting," said Sharon Eads. "You know, I am just so proud to be part of this city and a Loud City fan!"
The Thunder victory sent fans flocking to local businesses on Thursday to get their hands on the Western Conference Champs' gear. Eads was at the House of Bedlam store in Bricktown before the staff even unloaded the new apparel. They say business there is booming and they expect it to last through the NBA finals.

"It just means great revenue for us," said Retail Manager Steve Boehler. "This year the Thunder just shot through the roof and our sales have gone crazy."
Oklahoma City debuts on the world stage next week, showcasing a new image that has been ever-changing in recent years to attract more people.
"The young people want to be here and you know, people are moving here from California and Texas for the quality of life and amenities this community has invested in," said Cornett.
Eads agreed the world stage should get people to visit. And once they are here, they will not want to leave.
"We're the friendliest town in the world," she said.
