The Enid Police Department, along with Enid Animal Control and veterinarians, will host the annual animal vaccination clinic on Sunday, April 15.
The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Garfield County Expo Center, located at 111 W. Purdue in Enid.
According to the police department, the clinic is open to the public. It will include pet vaccinations for rabies and the issuance of the pet licenses as required by local ordinance.
Event organizers say during this event, your animal will receive its vaccination and license at a reduce fee of $9. Payment can be made in cash or by personal check.
"This is quite a saving to pet owners who would normally take their pets to a clinic, and then a trip to the police station to get them registered," said Allen Elder, Animal Control Supervisor.
Animal control officers and local veterinarians will be on-hand to administer the vaccines and issue the city pet license, according to authorities. They will also be available to answer general questions concerning the health of your animals, and local ordinances concerning pet care and owner responsibilities.
