An Oklahoma City woman was arrested for assaulting a city employee who came to her house to turn on the water.

Hattie Mae Sibley, 50, was arrested on March 30 for assault and battery on a city official.

According to the police report, an employee with the city's water department came to Sibley's home, located in the 1800 block of N.W. 12th Street, to turn on the water.

The employee said she walked to the front porch of the home and asked Sibley to sign some paperwork, that's when Sibley grabbed her, and pushed her off the porch and onto the ground.

Sibley then attempted to grab the water key from the victim.

The victim said Sibley struck her in the head and pulled her hair. Sibley's son then came out of the house and was able to get Sibley off the victim.

Police said officers attempted to arrest Sibley, but she started struggling. She was later taken into custody and transported to the Oklahoma County Jail.
