OU Women Get No. 6 Seed In NCAA Tournament
The Oklahoma Sooners received a No. 6 seed in the 2012 women's NCAA Tournament bracket and will host No. 11 seed Michigan in the first round.
The game will take place at the Lloyd Noble Center on Sunday with exact tipoff time to be determined.
The Lloyd Noble Center will also host another first round game: No. 3 seed St. John's against 14th-seeded Creighton.
The winners of those two games will also play in Norman on March 20 to determine who goes to the Sweet Sixteen in Fresno, Calif.
OU finished the year 20-12 and with a loss to Texas A&M in the semifinals of the Big 12 tournament.
The Michigan Wolverines finished 20-11 on the year and lost to Ohio State in the Big Ten quarterfinals.
