Severe Storm Watch Alert Issued For Parts of Oklahoma

Severe T-storm alert has been issued for several Oklahoma counties Tuesday night.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Severe T-storm alert has been issued for several Oklahoma counties Tuesday night.

The Comanche County Emergency Management has issued alert message of severe T-storm watch for Comanche Count till 6 a.m. Wednesday. Hazards in the warning include winds at 60 mph and frequent ground lightning.

National Weather Service in Norman has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Southwest Oklahoma until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

At 10: 13 p.m. Tuesday, National Weather Service radar indicated severe thunderstorms along a line extending from 3 miles west of Burns Flat, to 3 miles southwest of Sentinel, to 3 miles south of Granite, moving east at 30 mph.

Hazards in the warning include wind gusts to 60 mph and frequent cloud to ground lightning.
