PAOLI, Oklahoma -- The driver of a vehicle was killed after it collided with a school bus one mile east of I-35 on S.H. 145 about 3:13 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the vehicle was traveling eastbound on the highway when the driver, 20-year-old Emily Capps of Paoli, swerved and crashed into a Paoli School Bus as it was turning left at an intersection.

Capps was pronounced dead at the scene.

Eleven children were on the bus at the time of the crash. Only one child was injured and taken to the hospital by a parent.

No other injuries were reported.
