OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City emergency crews responded to a fiery car crash that left one person dead. The wreck happened early Saturday morning at N.W. 36th Street at Indiana.
Detectives are investigating the wreck as a possible hit and run homicide.
When firefighters arrived on scene the car was totally engulfed in flames, and they discovered the body of a woman in the wreckage.
A witness at the scene said the car was westbound on 36th Street when it was apparently involved in a collision with another vehicle. The vehicle then struck a tree in the median.
No other cars were at the scene with police arrived.
The car was an older model, white four-door Buick.
