Man Dead after Police Attempt to Serve Warrant

One person has died after police attempted to serve a warrant out of Pottawatomie County.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- One person has died after police attempted to serve a warrant out of Pottawatomie County.

According to police, officers were trying to serve a warrant for strangulation of a child when a person ran out the back of the home in the 3000 block of N. Warren Avenue, and a shot was fired.

Police found Andrew James Lamborn, 24, dead from an apparent self inflicting gunshot wound.

Lamborn pleaded guilty last year to domestic abuse by strangulation in Oklahoma County.
