OKLAHOMA CITY -- Salvation Army bell ringers brought in a record amount of cash during the past holiday season.

The Red Kettle Campaign collected $411,179 in Oklahoma City. Last month, Men's Health Magazine gave Oklahoma City an "F" in charitable giving. Red Kettle donations factored into that grade.

The Red Kettle donations pay for a food pantry, utility assistance, senior programs and the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Clubs.
